ok how do you do this correctly. Someone i know was doing this and they couldnt get it to draw up, only got resistance and air. Do they have to turn it upside down? the oil shouldnt come out if you dont put any air in right? Actually can someone just walk through the steps? Thanks so much.

You mean a vial, right? With a rubber stopper? It helps to push in an equal volume of air as the oil you want to draw. This creates pressure in the vial, making it easier to draw.

no i mean an ampule, like snap off the top and suck the stuff out. What is the proper way to withdraw the oil, it wouldnt come out just by "sucking it up" per say

There's really only one way to do it. Break off the top, poke the needle in the oil an pull back the plunger. If nothing happens you've got a defective syringe.

What type of needle where you using to draw the oil up with? Maybe it was too small a gauge?

Is it safe to just draw it out from an amp after you break the stem off? I get nervous about something being exposed to open air and then being injected into my muscle.

Hmmmmm, ... Well, ....I guess it's going to get "exposed" even if you transfer it to a new vial with a rubber stopper, ya know?

You must be useing to small of a needle. Need at least a 23 guage or smaller to it.

I use a 20 and just pull back until I see air bubbles and everything flows right into the syringe.

Like I said the smaller the guage the better.

Yep smaller the better.You don't want to pull back real fast though.Make sure you watch the air bubbles.You want to make sure they are moving in the right direction but barely.If you go to quick you'll run out of syringe and still have a bunch left in the amp.

Vials are more convenient but if used correctly, ampules have a lower chance of contamination.

With amps it is a one time deal.Just score it with a fingernail file and pop it off with a pen cap.Don't have to worry about pieces of the stopper getting in your gear and they are more sterile.
